AS II and Tamana Unit­ed walked away with the top prizes in the re­cent­ly con­clud­ed Don Miguel Sports League/Min­istry of Sport Su­per Six­es Wind­ball Crick­et Com­pe­ti­tion 2013.

AS II, the win­ners of the Male cat­e­go­ry, took home a Chal­lenge tro­phy and Repli­ca, 18 Gold Medals and $6000. The cham­pi­ons of the Fe­male Cat­e­go­ry, Tamana Unit­ed won a Chal­lenge tro­phy and Repli­ca, 18 Gold Medals and $4000. Some of the in­di­vid­ual win­ners were Ricky Siew­chan of Son­ny Ladoo Boys, for Most Runs and Most Six­es in a Match. Na­tion­al Women's crick­eter, Stacey Ann King of Tech­nocrats won the same awards in the fe­male cat­e­go­ry.

The Don Miguel Sports League would like to thank all the spon­sors of the Tour­na­ment which in­cludes the Min­istry of Sport, Tourism De­vel­op­ment Com­pa­ny Ltd, Ale­scon Readymix and Tiger Pro Wind­balls.

The Lu­cozade Sport/Min­istry of Sport Wind­ball Crick­et Com­pe­ti­tion, which is the main event this sea­son, will be­gin in April. The com­pe­ti­tion will be di­vid­ed in­to three di­vi­sions, the Pre­mier League, Di­vi­sion One and the Ladies League.

The Pre­mier League are al­lowed five seed­ed play­ers on their team with a first prize of $20,000, Di­vi­sion One is al­lowed one seed­ed play­er with a first prize of $8,000 and the Ladies League cham­pi­on will take away $10,000.
