Golden Dixieland, the impressive recent winner of the 100-80 over 1,750 metres event two weeks, will look to make it two from two, when he goes to post in Saturday's feature event over 1,800 metres on the main track at Santa Rosa Park, Arima.
The $80,000 feature event will see Golden Dixieland with Wilmer Galviz astride attempting to give away weight and a beating to her five rivals.
Champion trainer John O'Brien has two entrants in the events, Go For The Gold and the 2012 Midsummer Classic hero Onetokeep. The other in the field for the competitive event are Buffalo Soldier from the Derick Mosca barn and Secreat American who come from the Stephen Jardim stable and Wild Shiffle stabelemate of Golden Dixieland.
A total of 97 horses took entry yesterday for the ARC's Day 13 ten-race programme.
