Overcomers slam Jaggan Utd
Alonzo McLeod struck 26 to lead Overcomers to a crushing 85 run win against Jaggan United in the Tyro Sports Club Night Windball Cricket 12 over Competition on April 14.
McLeod’s knock led the way as Overcomers scored at 11 runs an over to reach a mammoth 132/6 in their 12 overs. Ravie Shivnanan and Aaron Seeram both contributed 19 to the total. Michael Bayne was the best bowler for Jaggan, taking 2/15.
In reply, Jaggan Utd were bowled out for a paltry 47. Trevor James fought hard for Jaggan with 17, but it was not enough.
One day earlier, Law Breakers also made a great start to the competition as they rolled over La Famalia De Cricket by eight wickets. Bowling first, Law Breakers restricted La Famalia De Cricket to 61/7 thanks to Mark Moona’s 2/8 in two overs. In their run chase, Law Breakers seemed to be in a rush as they got to 65 in only four overs. Riaf Ali top-scored with an unbeaten 26, while Sunil Boochan pitched in with 17.

Blood Brothers 131/7 (Narinora Taylor 36, Amit Jaganath 18, Garfield Roberts 3/35) vs One Love 101/7 (Earl Edwards 32). Blood Brothers won by 30 runs.
Drifters 90/5 (Andy Ruiz 33) vs United Progressors (B) 82/7 (Jameal Hosein 33, Devanad Kassie 15, Dillon Mahadeo 11). Drifters won by 8 runs.
