Si­mon Kalech­stein, Wendy D'ar­basie and De­o­dath Har­rikissoon, who won the male run, fe­male run and male walk re­spec­tive­ly will all look to come out on top when the Car­ifin Games con­tin­ue to­day with the Chan­cel­lor Chal­lenge at the La­dy Chan­cel­lor Hill from 5 pm.

This race, which is the third of a four-part run­ning se­ries, will be­gin at the bot­tom of Chan­cel­lor Hill and end at the top.

The trio, win­ners of the Green Mile, that took place on April 24 at the Sand Track in the Queen's Park Sa­van­nah, are favourites to win to­day's event.

Cen­tral Bank's D'ar­basie seems to be hav­ing her own way with her fe­male com­peti­tors as on­ly her CBTT col­league Es­la An­tho­ny, has been giv­ing her some com­pe­ti­tion. John Don­ald­son, a for­mer Car­iFin cross coun­try cham­pi­on, said: "Among the men it is pos­si­ble for po­si­tions to change be­tween sec­ond and sixth places based on the re­sults of the last two events".

To be con­sid­ered for prizes, par­tic­i­pants will have to com­pete in at least three of the four run­ning and walk­ing events. The last run­ning event will be a cross coun­try on May 26 at the Sevil­la Golf Course, Cou­va.
