KATHMANDU–Cricket legend Brian Lara has said that he is planning to visit Nepal this year. The West Indian batting great has mentioned about his possible visit to Nepal in a Twitter post on Wednesday.
"Up@3am in the morning going to read a little about Nepal, going there is on my bucket list. This year #amustdo #cricketchamps," tweeted Lara. He has, however, not mentioned when he will visit Nepal.Earlier on May 5, interacting with Nepali cricket fans on his Twitter page on the eve of the ICC World Cricket League Division 3 final between Nepal and Uganda, Lara had said that he was a big fan of Nepal.
"All the best 2 Nepal in the finals may the best team win. I'm a big fan of urs n Uganda's cricket," Lara had then posted on his Twitter account along with a picture of him with two Nepali fans in Bermuda.Lara, a left-handed batsman who is widely regarded as one of the finest batsmen of all time, holds several records including the highest individual score in a Test innings–400 not out against England in 2004.
