The Moo­sai Ladies made it two Pre­mier­ship ti­tles in a row on Sat­ur­day with a 31-run win over Phoenix Women in the T&T Women's Crick­et As­so­ci­a­tion (TTWCA) 40-over League.The win meant Moo­sai fin­ished the sea­son un­beat­en. Moo­sai played ten match­es this sea­son, win­ning eight and the oth­er two end­ed in a no re­sult.

Bat­ting first, Moo­sai post­ed a mod­est 158/9 off their 40 overs. Na­tion­al play­ers Aman­da Sama­roo (64) and Kir­by­i­na Alexan­der (57) both made half-cen­turies. For Phoenix, Brit­ney Coop­er (2/20), Loret­ta Eligon (2/31) and Le­an­dra Ramdeen (2/32) all snatched two wick­ets.

In re­ply, Phoenix would have fan­cied their chances chas­ing 159.How­ev­er, slow medi­um bowler Leeann Kir­by had oth­er ideas. Kir­by's 4/20, along with Alexan­der's 2/26, re­strict­ed the Phoenix bats­men to 127 all out. Shenelle Lord top-scored with 37 in the los­ing ef­fort. Moo­sai end­ed the sea­son on 26 points, while Phoenix fin­ished in sec­ond po­si­tion on 20 points.

In an­oth­er Pre­mier­ship match, Sta­cy-Ann King blast­ed 78 to lead Tech­nocrats to a crush­ing nine-wick­et win over Crick­et Lovers at the Pin­to Recre­ation Ground. Tech­nocrats fin­ished in third spot, while Crick­et Lovers end­ed the sea­son fifth.
