Simmion Ramjattan struck 64 to give South a huge 97-run win over South East in the BGTT Under-15 InterZone competition, yesterday.Ramjattan's knock, along with 34 from Xavier Ganga, took South to 212/8 in their second innings. Spin bowler Vishal Roopnarine grabbed 3/39 for South East. Chasing 201 for victory, 43 from right-handed opening batsman Lennard Cooper was not enough as South East fell for 103. Yogishwar Persad (3/8) and Dennis Ramnath (3/14) led from the front with three wickets apiece to guide South to the win.
In other matches, Central rolled over South West by ten wickets, North got past Tobago by 18 runs and the encounter between North East and East ended in a draw because of rain.
