Gary Chin scored a hat-trick to lead Queen's Park to a 6-1 whipping of Carib for their fifth win from as many matches in the T&T Hockey Board Men's Trinity Division at the National Hockey Centre, Tacarigua, on Thursday night.The trio of Cade Lue Sue, Jerazeno Bell and Andre Attale added the others for the Parkites while Jael St Louis got Carib's consolation item.
With the win, Queen's Park moved to 15 points from its five matches, the same as Malvern, which eked out a 1-0 over previously unbeaten Notre Dame via an 18th-minute goal from Kyle Cowie.
Malvern is second due to an inferior goal difference to the Parkites, while the Dames slipped to third with 12 points from five matches followed by Paragon and Paradise, both with ten from four and five matches, respectively.
In the Trinity Women's title race, Notre Dame leads with 12 points from six matches, two ahead of Defence Force, Magnolias and Checkers.
