Gary Chin scored a hat-trick to lead Queen's Park to a 6-1 whip­ping of Carib for their fifth win from as many match­es in the T&T Hock­ey Board Men's Trin­i­ty Di­vi­sion at the Na­tion­al Hock­ey Cen­tre, Tacarigua, on Thurs­day night.The trio of Cade Lue Sue, Jer­azeno Bell and An­dre At­tale added the oth­ers for the Parkites while Jael St Louis got Carib's con­so­la­tion item.

With the win, Queen's Park moved to 15 points from its five match­es, the same as Malvern, which eked out a 1-0 over pre­vi­ous­ly un­beat­en Notre Dame via an 18th-minute goal from Kyle Cowie.

Malvern is sec­ond due to an in­fe­ri­or goal dif­fer­ence to the Parkites, while the Dames slipped to third with 12 points from five match­es fol­lowed by Paragon and Par­adise, both with ten from four and five match­es, re­spec­tive­ly.

In the Trin­i­ty Women's ti­tle race, Notre Dame leads with 12 points from six match­es, two ahead of De­fence Force, Mag­no­lias and Check­ers.
