The Trinidad Muslim League Cricket Competition now in its ninth year has grown considerably, attracting some 31 teams, coming from an area which spans Diego Martin in the West, Sangre Grande in the East and Penal/San Francique in South.Central giants and defending champions ASJA Markaz look like they will be the team to beat as they come up against Four Roads Jamaat of Freeport in the first semi-final. The other semi-final will also feature last year's runner-up Diego Martin Jamaat against an improving Bamboo Jamaat. Both semi-finals will be played on June 7 at 8.30 pm.
The grand finals and presentation ceremony is carded for June 8, at the TML grounds, St Joseph, at 8.30 pm.Competition has been very keen this year, attracting youth and adult players and spectators in an environment which reinforces discipline, while building good moral and spiritual values in families and communities. There are approximately 500 registered players and frequently over 200 spectators, a sumptuous well stocked cafe and nightly door prizes are in place for spectators.

There is also third Umpire Slow Motion Replay Technology in which the results are shown live on a big screen to the audience, an electronic scoreboard projected on a 15 inch outdoor screen and iPad App Technology Scoring, which means no more scoring by hand-writing, as all is performed electronically.
