Devon Charles hit an unbeaten 47 as La Familia de Cricket surged to a 10-wicket win over Fire Service as action continued in the BG T&T/Councillor TYRO Sports Club Day/Night Windball Cricket League in Santa Cruz last week.Batting first, Fire Services were limited to 58 all out with Jeremy Carter topscoring with 25. La Familia cruised to 59 without loss as Charles made merry against some wayward bowling.
In other matches, Imran Hosein contributed with both bat and ball to guide the unbeaten Head Gone to a comfortable, eight-wicket win over Blood Brothers. Hosein had impressive figures of 2-0-2-3 to restrict Blood Brothers to 58 for nine with Jai Teemal (2-0-9-2) and Pernell Joseph (3-0-19-2) also proving hard to get away.He then chipped in with an unbeaten 11 as his side eased to 60 for two for the win.
