Moosai maintained their perfect record in the Premiership T20 T&T Women's Cricket Association (TTWCA) competition with three wins over the weekend, as Amanda Samaroo continued to shine with both bat and ball.
On Saturday, Moosai won both of their matches, defeating Phoenix easily by 45 runs and escaping with a two-run win over Technocrats.
In the Technocrats match at the Buggy Haynes Ground, Moosai batted first and posted a mediocre 93/8 off their 20 overs behind Kirbyina Alexander's knock of 23.
Candace La Borde (2/14) and Gaitri Seetahal (2/16) grabbed two wickets apiece for Technocrats. Karishma Ramharack and Samaroo ensured 93 was enough to win the match, taking 3/11 and 3/13 respectively, reducing Technocrats to 91/8. National player Stacy Ann King made a valiant 51 in a losing effort.
