Ala­nia Bur­gin and Der­nelle Mas­call scored a pair of goals each as de­fend­ing cham­pi­on Re­al Di­men­sion trounced St Au­gus­tine SC 4�0 in the T&T Women's League Foot­ball Pre­mier Di­vi­sion at St Au­gus­tine Se­nior Sec­ondary ground on Sat­ur­day.

The game was even­ly matched un­til vet­er­an goal­keep­er Nicole Mitchell-Thomas had to be sub­sti­tut­ed be­cause of a knee in­jury and fol­low­ing her sub­sti­tu­tion Re­al Di­men­sion cap­i­talised with Bur­gin, scor­ing from a goal-mouth scram­ble in the 30th minute for a 1�0 lead at the half.

Six min­utes in­to the sec­ond-half Mas­call made it 2�0 when she beat goal­keep­er Khadi­jah De Fre­itas af­ter be­ing put through on goal. She then added an­oth­er in the 83rd with a so­lo ef­fort past three de­fend­ers, be­fore Bur­gin got her sec­ond on the stroke of full-time to com­plete the scor­ing.

The win car­ried Re­al Di­men­sion to 12 points from five match­es, the same as Mal­ick City which won its fourth straight match, 1�0 over De­fence Force with a lone goal from Rhonique Alexan­der in the 73rd minute at the Uni­ver­si­ty of West In­dies, St Au­gus­tine ground.

On Sat­ur­day, Trinci­ty Na­tion­als moved up to third spot af­ter a 10�1 maul­ing of Step By Step at the Ed­die Hart Ground, Tacarigua, led by na­tion­al for­ward Jonelle War­rick's six goals while her sis­ter, Shanelle scored two and Krystyn Rose and Adanya Phillip added one each. To­ba­go Unit­ed al­so won its en­counter, 1�0 over the vis­it­ing St Ann's Rangers.

Durpey's Cen­tral FC con­tin­ue on­slaught

Ver­lea Duprey fired in six goals as Cen­tral FC blast­ed Barataria Ball Play­ers 14�0 in Group A of the Japs Fried Chick­en First Di­vi­sion.

Duprey, who car­ried her tal­ly to 11 goals in three match­es with her per­for­mance, was well sup­port­ed by Jen­nette Wil­son, who got a hat-trick to push her tal­ly to 15 while Anique Walk­er and Ah­keela Mol­lon, both got two and Josan­na Williams, one.

The win was the fourth straight for Cen­tral FC "La­dy Sharks" in the six-team group for 12 points, six more than To­ba­go All Stars, Mal­abar All Stars and Diego Mar­tin Cen­tral. Yes­ter­day, the La­dy Sharks faced Mal­abar at UWI, St Au­gus­tine.

In Group B, Civic Cen­tre Pi­o­neers whipped Petrotrin 5-1 at the Ma­haica Oval, Pt Fortin for its fourth win in five match­es, and 12 points, three ahead of La Brea An­gels, 8-0 vic­tors over Mos Scholaz.
