Valiants wicketkeeper/batsman Devon Nelson is among 29 players who have been called up by the national selectors to prepare for the upcoming Champions League T20 cricket series in India.Nelson caught the eyes of the national selectors with his batting performances during the domestic T20 tournament at Guaracara Park recently. He was tidy behind the stumps and had a few good knocks to go with it.
Apart from him, the others are the usual men who are called to prepare. T&T will be taking part in the annual Champions League in India from September 16. This is their final appearance at the tournament because from next season the winners of the Caribbean Premier League will be the ones going to the Champions League.The players called are to attend a training session at the Sir Frank Worrell Development Centre on Saturday morning from 9 am.
