Rampaul, Ganga back as Red Force begins prep for CLT20
Fit again pacer Ravi Rampaul and the overlooked Sherwin Ganga are back in the national fold, as the Red Force flies out to Guyana on Thursday to play a two-match series, before leaving for the Champions League in India.
T&T will meet Guyana in two matches underlights at the Providence Stadium in Guyana with the first on Friday at 7 pm and the other Saturday at the same time.
When Guyana beat T&T in the semi-final of the 2010 Caribbean T20 competition at the Queen’s Park Oval to earn the right to represent the West Indies in the Champions League T20 tournament in South Africa, the T&TCB assisted in Guyana’s preparations by sending their National team to battle the locals.

the Guyana Cricket Board has returned the favour of assisting in the preparation of the unit from the twin island Republic.
Lendl Simmons, Sunil Narine and Denesh Ramdin will once again don the red, white and black after representing the Guyana franchise in this year’s inaugural Caribbean Premier league.
Rampaul who was contracted with the eventual CPL winners Tallawahs but did not feature, is back and will be looking for some action, after missing the entire CPL. All rounders Dwayne Bravo, Kevon Cooper and Keiron Pollard have opted to play for their IPL Fanchises Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians respectively in the Champions League.
T&T has earned direct entry into the tournament this year, after lobbying by the TTCB. In 2011 and 2012 they played in the Qualifiers. They are in group ‘B’ along with Brisbane Heat (KFC T20 Big Bash League champion), the runner-up in the Pepsi IPL 2013, Titans (RAM SLAM T20 Challenge runner-up), and the second-ranked team from the CLT20 2013 Qualifier.
