T&T to get World Cup tickets
T&T Football Association (TTFA) as a non-participating member association at the 2014 World Cup Finals in Brazil, will still receive an allotment of tickets.
The announcement was made yesterday by TTFA director of communications Shaun Fuentes, who said the association will soon decide what system will be used for the distribution of tickets to fans in T&T.
“Of course, having not qualified for the Brazil, we will not have the numbers available as we did in 2006 Germany but the TTFA is still prepared to assist locals with the best possible option for attending the games.
“The organisation will implement a process that is fair, transparent and equitable,” said Fuentes.
The TTFA will be able to request tickets during the ticket application period (between December 8 and February 7, 2014). The TTFA will have access to tickets for matches between matches two to 60, as well as 63, and maximum of 40 tickets in total between matches 61, 62 and 64. All tickets are subject to availability.
The public can log on to www.ttffonline.com/home for updated information on the process or call the TTFA at 623-9500 for further information.
