Amit Jaggernauth's ten wickets, was not enough for Queen's Park to earn an outright win yesterday over defending national league champions Powergen, Syne Village in round three action.
Powergen closed the match on 78/9 in its second innings, still trailing the Parkites by 25 runs, after the latter declared on 200/6 in the first innings earlier in the day.
Jaggernauth, who took 7/22 in the first innings with his off spin, grabbed 3/20 in the second, but Powergen held on for the draw. West Indies fast bowler Fidel Edwards snatched 4/23 for the Parkites.
Earlier, Daron Cruickshank continued his top form this season, scoring 83 to guide Queen's Park to a 103-run lead on first innings. The right-hander struck 87 in round one against Moosai and 84 against Preysal in round two.
Many of the matches were affected by rain, as only Merry Boys and Alescon Comets recorded outright victories.
