Jabari Mills displayed his all-round ability yesterday to guide the South Zone to a crushing nine-wicket win over South-West at the Francis Seepaul Recreation Ground in Debe as action continued in the BG T&T 50-over Under-17 Interzone cricket tournament.
In this 45-over contest, spin bowler Mills grabbed 3/21 to help limit South-West to a modest 119 all out in 33 overs. Adrian Paharry (3/19) also took three wickets, while Ronnie Goddard was the top scorer for South West, scoring 40.
In reply, left-handed Mills struck an unbeaten 50 to help take South to 121/1 in 21 overs. David Isiah Williams also showed good form, scoring 52 not out.
