Couva rivals DirecTV W Connection and Central FC are fired up for a go at each in the semi-final round of the 2014 Digicel Pro Bowl.
It may be the final match for Central head coach Terry Fenwick, as the 54-year-old Englishman is set to join Belgium lower division outfit CS Vis on a three-year-deal in the coming weeks.
However, today he will lead Central against W Connection from 8 pm at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva.
Two hours earlier, dethroned Pro league champions, Defence Force meets Police.
"It's going to be another good game, I'm sure," said Fenwick who guided his team to two titles this season and a second-place finish in the Pro League on Tuesday night behind champions W Connection and a Caribbean Football Union Club Championship qualifying spot.
Central defeated North East Stars 3-0 in the quarterfinal round of the Pro Bowl a week ago while W Connection defeated Caledonia AIA 3-1.
Now Central, winners of this season's First Citizens Cup and Lucozade Sport Goal Shield, and W Connection, the present League, Digicel Charity Shield, Toyota Classic and FA Trophy champions, will face each other for a staggering seventh time this term.
The head-to-head of the six previous meetings shows Central bettering W Connection with three wins, one draw and two defeats.
According to W Connection assistant coach Earl Jean his club has achieved its major goals this season, by winning the league championship and qualifying for the CFU Club Championship, towards the Concacaf Champions League.
"We are always fired up because that's who we are," said Jean, a former W Connection and St Lucia forward.
Defence Force and Police are coming off defeats 1-0 (against San Juan Jabloteh) and 3-0 (against North East Stars) respectively and a win means one step closer to ending the season on a high.
The winners will advance to next Friday's final at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya for the $100,000 winner-take-all prize to end the season.
