Channon Thompson was a double-winner in the individual awards while her T&T team-mates added three more despite their team falling 14-25, 29-31, 17-25 in the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (Norceca) Women's Playoff match on Sunday.
The match was the second of the final day double-header at the University of the West Indies Sports and Physical Educational Centre, St Augustine.
Thompson, who plays professionally in France after a stint in Poland was named as the 'Best Scorer" as well as one of the two "Best Outside Hitters".
Other award recipients for T&T were Russia-based Sinead Jack and Jalicia Ross-Kydd who captured the "Best Blockers" accolade and captain, Kelly-Anne Billingy, the "Best Server".
Mexican, Lizbeth Sainz was voted "Most Valuable Player" of the tournament after leading the Mexicans to the victory and the 24th and final spot at the FIVB World Championship in Italy from September 23 to October 12.
Sainz, who was the leading scorer in the final match with 16 points, was also voted "Best Outside Spiker" while her team-mates Lizbeth Lopez (Best Receiver), Claudia Resendiz (Best Setter) and captain Andrea Rangel, who twisted her ankle four points into the decider, was voted "Best Opposite Hitter".
As their teams had done in the tournament by finishing first and second, players from Mexico and T&T dominated the individual awards by capturing five apiece of the 12 prizes.
Marcela Araya, from third-placed Costa Rica, was voted Best Libero and Best Digger. No players from Nicaragua and Panama, the teams which occupied the final two positions, respectively, received individual awards.
