Gavyn Nero of the Braves Cycling Club edged Slipstream's Marc Codrington and Jovian Gomez of Team DPS to win the National Criterium at King George V Park in St Clair yesterday. In other categories Akil Campbell took the Junior Men crown, David Tardieu took the Masters 40-49 and Derek DeGannes won the Masters 50-59.
Among the juveniles, Ramon Belmontes (Braves) beat Tyler Cole (Sonics) and Nicholas Paul (Sonics) for the title following an exciting sprint finish after the top two lapped the bunch.
