A contigent of ten basketballers from Tobago will travel to St Kitts and Nevis from Friday and return three days later during which they will play a series of matches against teams from the island's Premier Division and Division A teams.
Along with the players, head coach Vincent Taylor, assistant coach Ronnie Ryan, Johnan Roberts, the team's trainer and Strisand Murray, the team manager will make the trip.
The team's visit is part of the Department of Sport Development Programme, which is geared at allowing athletes international exposure which will ensure that they take their game to a higher level. The team's visit has been made possible through the vision of Assemblyman Jomo Pitt who works with all sporting organisations with the view to developing and nurturing the talents of the Tobago athlete.
The traveling players include, Jerel Orr, Sylon Williams, Kerry Celestine, Randell Moore, Myles Sampson, Valdez Perez, Lenwayne Wallace, Richard Alleyne, Allister Roachford and Shorn Solomon.
