Jones earns Cardiff a point
Cardiff striker Kenwyne Jones’ second-half equaliser at Craven Cottage denied Fulham their first Championship win of the season, in a 1-1 draew. German full-back Tim Hoogland headed in Ross McCormack’s corner in the 22nd minutes as the hosts dominated the first half.
But Cardiff hit back when Soca Warriors captain Jones collected Mats Moller Daehli’s pass in the area and slotted through Marcus Bettinelli’s legs in the 55th for his fourth goal of the season.
Fulham's first point moves them off the bottom, while Cardiff are ninth with eight points from five matches, five behind leaders Nottingham Forest.
