CALGARY–A final nine slump left T&T's Stephen Ames with a three-over 73 in the second round of the Shaw Charity Classic here Saturday, and languishing at 70th on the leaderboard.
The 50-year-old Calgary resident shot three bogeys to follow up a bogey and a double bogey on the first nine, as he lost his way in the Champions Tour event at the Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club.
Following his even-par 70 on Friday's opening day, Ames is now three-over 143, 13 strokes adrift of leaders Bob Tway, Joe Durant and Joe Daley of the United States–all at ten-under. CMC
