Having already secured a spot in next year's Concacaf final round of qualifiers, Haiti will go up against St Kitts today in the second match of a Group B closing double-header to determine which teams will move into Friday's CFU Under-20 Championship third-place playoff and final.
Haiti, which booked its spot in January's final round of 2015 Under-20 World Cup qualifiers following a second win (2-1 over Aruba) will clash with an already eliminated St Kitts from 7.15 pm at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva.
The earlier contest, carded to start at 5 pm, will see the Dominican Republic face off with Aruba in a duel which will determine the second team from Group B to move into the confederation's final round of World Cup qualifiers.
Host nation T&T has already booked its place at the Concacaf event, but met Cuba last night to finalist the first and second group finishers. T&T needed just a point to top the group.
Haiti won its two group stage matches, albeit by slender margins to lead Group B going into tonight's fixture, while the Dominican Republic and Aruba, both won and lost one match each to initiate an exciting showdown tonight.
In Monday's second Group B match, Demas Fernander and Alessandro Campoy scored moments apart in the first half for Haiti, before Ricky Hodge scored Aruba's lone goal in the 78th minute in a failed comeback effort.
The opening fixture saw Dominican Republic remain alive in the competition with a 3-1 win over St Kitts and Nevis.
St Kitts struck first in the fourth minute through Jamieson McKoy, but was unable to keep the Dominican Republic at bay. The Republic responded with a first half brace from Aneuys Felize Mateo (33rd, 45th) and a second half insurance item from Ricardo Andres Llanos Penalo (78th).
Following the conclusion of group play, the two group winners will meet in the final at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Port-of-Spain, from 7.30pm. The third-place playoff will precede at the same venue from 5 pm.
