Glen Camp­bell, a sup­port­er of the se­nior women's na­tion­al team was among two per­sons who won a T&T team T-shirt signed by mid­field stand­out Ah­keela Mol­lon, when her agent com­pa­ny The Brazil Link (TBL) Sports ran a pro­mo­tion along with Trot­ters Restau­rant and The Fan Club.

The T-shirts bear­ing her name and num­ber was print­ed by Sport­way Lim­it­ed, sup­pli­er of na­tion­al team kits and pre­sent­ed at Trot­ters, Mar­aval Road, fol­low­ing the T&T's goal­less draw away to Ecuador in the first leg of a 2015 Fi­fa Women's World Cup in­ter­con­ti­nen­tal play­off, on Sat­ur­day.

Camp­bell, one of two win­ners, sub­mit­ted an en­try form at half time in Trot­ters, dur­ing T&T's fi­nal match at the Con­ca­caf Women's Cham­pi­onship, in the US, where it placed fourth af­ter a loss to Mex­i­co in ex­tra-time two weeks ago.

The ini­tia­tive was con­duct­ed by TBL Sports, which signed Mol­lon ear­li­er this year.

"Af­ter we signed Mol­lon, she was then con­tract­ed to a club in Swe­den and we worked on im­prov­ing and pre­serv­ing her im­age," said Nara­da Wil­son, TBL Sports Ex­ec­u­tive.

Mol­lon, who has been one of the most in­flu­en­tial play­ers for the na­tion­al team since re-join­ing af­ter three years, pri­or to the Con­ca­caf Women's Cham­pi­onship, has at­tract­ed in­ter­est from a num­ber of top flight clubs in the US, as well as in Swe­den and Japan.

Her con­tract with her last club in Swe­den end­ed last month af­ter a blis­ter­ing sea­son loaded with goals, as­sists and MVP awards.

Ac­cord­ing to Wil­son, TBL Sports ap­proached both Trot­ters and The Fan Club about the pro­mo­tion dur­ing the Con­ca­caf World Cup qual­i­fy­ing cam­paign in an ef­fort to pro­mote both Mol­lon's im­age and that of the na­tion­al women's team on the whole.

On hand to make the pre­sen­ta­tion were The Brazil Link's man­ag­ing di­rec­tor, Cy Pad­more and T&T Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion (TTFA) gen­er­al sec­re­tary, Shel­don Phillips.

Along with its sign­ing of Mol­lon ear­li­er this year, TBL Sports has ac­quired the rights of a num­ber of oth­er high pro­file ath­letes.

Yohance Mar­shall se­cure a reg­u­lar spot in the se­nior men's na­tion­al team and both Zane Cok­er and Miguel Romeo both re­turn to the TT Pro League.
