Vishnu Boys Hindu College was in fine form yesterday, as they inflicted a heavy 145-run defeat on Princes Town West Secondary, as matches in the Secondary Schools cricket council continued.
Batting first, Vishnu Boys rattled up 220 all out, with Aaron Myram getting a topscore of 80. Also batting well was Shakeel Singh who scored 52. Haroun Ali was the pick of the bowlers for Princes Town taking 3/19. The home team was then hustled out for an embarrassing 64 runs, as Vishnu Boys ran away the winners.
In other matches, Presentation College Chaguanas defeated ASJA Boys San Fernando by four wickets, Naparima Boys collected a 21-run win over Hillview, Fatima defeated Carapichaima by six wickets and Barrackpore West Secondary got a winning draw against St Mary's College.
