Soca Warriors duo, England-based T&T captain Kenwyne Jones and speedy winger Rundell Winchester both sealed loan moves on Thursday in announcements made on two different continents.
Cardiff City sent Kenwyne Jones to fellow English Championship side Bournemouth (73 points), which currently tops the table by a single point over Watford and Middlesbrough. The top two clubs earn automatic promotion to the Premier League.
The 30-year-old, who has been capped 57 times and joined Cardiff from Stoke City in January 2014, scored 13 goals in 27 games in all competitions this season. Jones also possesses Premier League experience with Southampton and Sunderland. His loan agreement will run until May 2, but could be extended until May 25 if Bournemouth features in the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final that day.
In North America, Rundell Winchester joined Timbers 2 (T2)–the United Soccer Leagues team of Major League Soccer's Portland Timbers–from Central FC of the Digicel T&T Pro League.
He tallied 19 goals in 34 matches for the Sharks, leading them to a Lucozade Sport Goal Shield in 2014 and taking both the tournament Most Valuable Player and Golden Boot honours.
Winchester also helped them to a second-place finish in the Pro League and was awarded Young Footballer of the Year, Goal of the Season and Supporters Goal of the Season by his own club in 2014.
The 21-year-old has four caps for the Soca Warriors, making his senior team debut on October 16, 2013, as a substitute against New Zealand.
