Preysal Phoenix won its seventh straight match in the T&T Women's Cricket Association 50-over League on Sunday, after top performances from national players Britney Cooper and Felicia Walters.
In a shortened 44-over contest, Cooper slammed 86 to guide Phoenix to 203/7 against Moosai Sports at Inshan Ali Park, Preysal. Merissa Aguilleira and Reniece Boyce contributed 55 and 44, respectively for Phoenix.
A hat-trick from Walters (4/20) helped reduce Moosai to 117 all out in 33 overs. Sharnella Townsend was also among the wickets, grabbing 3/29 as Phoenix won by 86 runs.
