Former national Under-15 player Saiba Batoosingh struck an unbeaten 151 to lead the Central zone to an emphatic win over South East in round two of the BG T&T Under-19 Interzone competition at Presentation College, Chaguanas, on Monday and Tuesday.
After restricting South East to a modest 111 all out in the first innings, Batoosingh's innings led Central to 302/9 declared. Dejourn Charles pitched in with 35 for Central, while Jeron Maniram was the top bowler snatching 3/71. In the second innings, South East was skittled out for 108 as former national U-17 captain Varindra Jagrup took 7/34 to end the match with nine wickets.
