T&T’s Rampersadsingh second in St Kitts
T&T’s Terrance Rampersadsingh was second in the 40-49 age category at the 13th annual four-kilometre channel swim from Nevis to St Kitts on Easter Sunday.
T&T was also represented in the event by Fiona Grant of St Ann’s, Kathern Renner of Diego Martin and Dr Glenn Ramadharsingh, MP for Caroni Central.
The overall race was won by Valerie Gregoire from Nevis. The race started at Qualie Beach, Nevis and finished at Reggae Beach St Kitts.
The four said they plan to take part in the 2015 Massy Rainbow Cup, an international triathlon in Tobago in June. Ramadharsingh said this was the first time that he had taken part in such an event and had been training intensively for the last year. Grant and Renner said they were very much ready to take on the upcoming triathlon in Tobago.
