T&T will open their challenge for regional T20 honours, against the Leeward Islands on January 13 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.<!--break--> T&T bowed out of the last tournament at the semi-final stage, at the hands of Guyana. The Guyanese were eventually crowned champions of the tournament and represented the region without success at the Airtel Champions League. In the schedule announced by the West Indies Cricket Board yesterday, there is also a big grudge-match the following day with home team Leeward Islands clashing with Caribbean T20 2010 losing finalist Barbados at 8 pm. English T20 winners Hampshire Royals will kick off their Caribbean campaign when they lock horns with invitational side Canada in the curtain raiser at 4 pm. The other English team—Somerset—will play their first match on January 12th against Guyana in another colossal match up.
