Three-time 'Horse of the Year' Bigman In Town will attempt to win his first Turf race on Saturday in the Caribbean Turf Championship over 1800 metres at Santa Rosa Park in Arima.
The Baskaran Bassawh owned six-year-old horse will shoulder top weight of 57 kilos as he seeks to win for the first time in 13 months. He will take on last year's derby Winner Academy Award in the feature event.
Eleven horses have taken entry for the $75,000 purse event and Bigman In Town conqueror from last time out Magical Victory is again in the line up.
However, on this occasion Bigman In Town will only be handing him four kilos.Recent winner Black Onyx which was impressive last time out will race with 49 kilos.
When entries were taken yesterday a total of 122 horses signed for the Arima Race Club (ARC) Day three 10-race programme.
