A total of ninety-three horses have taken entry for Saturday's nine-race card of the Arima Race Club (ARC) at Santa Rosa Park in Arima.
The feature event on the day's programme is race eight over 1500 metres for imported three-year-olds and over maidens and West Indian bred three-year-olds and over orses rated 75 50.
The John O'Brien trained four-year-old Desert Dancer will be the horse to beat under Brian Boodramsing. Desert Dancer has been allotted 54.5 kilos.
The Lester Alexis trained turf specialist Heat of The Moment is well weighted on 50.5 kilos and will have the assistance of former champion jockey Prayven Badrie.
Bobby Persad sends out two in the event with Peace N Glory as his flagbearer.
The Harold Chadee trained Set Sail which raced unbeaten until the St Ann's Stakes will return to racing in the sixth event. The filly will be very difficult to beat over 1,100 mtres with the in form Sheldon Rodrigo doing the steering.
