Nikoli Blackman of Marlins and Zarek Wilson of Blue Dolphins sat two new national records each when the Atlantis Aquatics Swim Long Course Meet was held at the Marlins Swimming Pool, Morne Coco Road, Westmoorings, last weekend.
The 12-year-old Blackman established a new 11-12 Boys national record in the 1500m freestyle on Saturday when he stopped the clock in 17 minutes, 36.90 seconds to erase the 2013 record of Kael Yorke of 17:50.31.
Blackman continued to show his dominance in long-distance shattering another of Yorke's record, the 800m freestyle record of 9:29.06 set in 2013 when he touched the wall in 9:13.79 in his gold medal swim.
