The Mor­vant/Laven­tille Pro out­fit will take on St Ann's Ranger in quar­ter­fi­nal ac­tion of the 2009 tour­na­ment in the first match of a dou­ble-head­er at the Lar­ry Gomes Sta­di­um, Mal­abar, Ari­ma, this evening from 6 pm. Coach Moe said that he is con­fi­dent of get­ting past the first hur­dle. "We are well pre­pared for this match against the Rangers, and we should get the job done. While it's the Rangers we are not tak­ing any team for grant­ed and we are go­ing to take on this tour­na­ment chal­lenge one match at a time, said Moe.

The Rangers qual­i­fied for the quar­ters by edg­ing out FC South End 1-0 in their play­off. The fea­ture match will see Cli­co San Juan Jabloteh tak­ing on De­fence Force. Mean­while, bmo­bile Joe Pub­lic which is chas­ing its four ti­tle of the sea­son af­ter bag­ging the league, big six and the Toy­ota Clas­sic, will come up against Po­lice in the first match of a dou­ble-head­er at the Man­nie Ramjohn Sta­di­um, Mara­bel­la, al­so from 6 pm.
