WASA will be aim­ing to ex­tend its lead at the top of the stand­ings of the bmo­bile Na­tion­al Su­per Foot­ball League to­day, when it hosts Queen's Park (Match Day Nine) in St Joseph, from 4 pm. The "Wa­ter Boys" re­gained the lead from fel­low util­i­ty com­pa­ny T&TEC with a 2-0 win over De­fence Force on Sun­day. QPCC will be hop­ing to cre­ate an up­set, which could see it mov­ing two po­si­tions for­ward from fifth place.

The "Elec­tric­i­ty Boys", who have played two match­es less than WASA, will take on de­fend­ing cham­pi­on Joe Pub­lic at the Mar­vin Lee Sta­di­um, Ma­coya, in the bat­tle of the un­de­feat­ed teams. T&TEC, which has won four of its five match­es with the oth­er be­ing drawn, will no doubt be aim­ing to re­main in touch­ing dis­tance with WASA.

Pub­lic, on the oth­er hand, which had an in­dif­fer­ent start this sea­son, will be hop­ing to claim its fourth win in sev­en match­es. The "East­ern Li­ons", who are third in the stand­ings on 12 points, will be seek­ing to over­take T&TEC for the sec­ond po­si­tion.
