Kenny's winning streak came to an end in emphatic fashion on Wednesday night at the hands of home team Headquarters of Penal. The Chaguanas based Kenny's, which was on a three-game winning streak, went down 5-0, one of three similar results in round seven of the National Pool League.
The first game saw a battle of the Rampersads, Shane started the rout by beating Rudy, no relation, three frames to one. Krishendath Heeralal was next and his result was a carbon copy of the opener, a 3-1 win against Ganesh Bedassie, the visitors' only success being third frame wins.
The carnage continued with three-nil results in the remaining games. The doubles pair of Mark Cannon and Adrian Bajnath made light of Zubir Sankar and Coty Brumant. Home captain Lyndon Ramkissoon made Brian Studdard pay for missed opportunities and Junior Boodram continued his good form defeating Reynold Samaroo.
The other five-nil shutout surfaced when table-toppers United Stars, playing away from their Debe base, blew out their hosts Dekko Sports Bar in Princes Town and Pit 'n' Pub, playing at home in Curepe, took care of bottom-placed Liquidatorz.
The other games saw Jerry's edge cross town rivals Upper Deck 3-2, behind Vishal Singh winning the final frame after Upper Deck clawed back in the contest after being 2-0 down. Forty-Fivers were also in winner's row beating Foxys four games to one.
