San Juan Jabloteh got a goal each from Sean Bon­val and Jodel Brown to hold off Prison Ser­vice FC to move up to fifth on the Di­vi­sion One stand­ings of the As­cen­sion In­vi­ta­tion­al Tour­na­ment at San Juan North Sec­ondary Ground, Bourg Mu­la­tresse, San Juan on Sun­day.

Bon­val got the open­er in the third-minute be­fore Brown made it 2-0 12 min­ures lat­er, on­ly for An­to­nio Au­guste to pull a goal back for Prison Ser­vice three min­utes be­fore the half-time in­ter­val.

Both teams then failed to add to their tal­ly in the sec­ond half, and with Jabloteh pick­ing up a third win in four match­es to move to nine points, lev­el with Club San­do FC who have played two match­es more, and six be­hind Mor­vant Cale­do­nia AIA who leads the ta­ble with max­i­mum 15 points, two clear of De­fence Force, both from five match­es each.

In Sun­day's oth­er match, Dwane James scored the last-minute equalis­er to earn Cunu­pia FC a 1-1 draw with Queen's Park Crick­et Club at St Mary's Col­lege Ground, Ser­pen­tine Road, St Clair, af­ter Shomarie An­tonie's net­ted a tenth-minute open­er for the host.

In Di­vi­sion Two, Pe­tit Val­ley/Diego Mar­tin Unit­ed and Bethel Unit­ed picked up valu­able home wins on Sun­day.

At St An­tho­ny's Col­lege Ground, Morne Co­co Road, West­moor­ings, Akeil Thomas' 52nd-minute strik­er earned Pe­tit Val­ley/Diego Mar­tin Unit­ed a 2-1 tri­umph against Harlem Strik­ers while Joki­ah Lea­cock, An­del No­ray and Tee Jay Cadiz were on tar­get for Bethel Unit­ed to beat RSSR FC, 3-1.
