Senior national women’s team volleyballer, Sinead Jack-Kisal and her Ilbank club-mates picked up their second win in eight matches in the Turkish Women’s Volleyball Championship Tuesday.
Jack and her team-mates who started the encounter in the bottom five of the 16-club standings swept past cellar-placed Beylikduzu Volleyball Ihtisas 25-10, 25-9, 25-9 for their first win in five matches and second of eight on the season to remain 13th on the standings with six points, one ahead of Sariyer Belediyesi (2-4), and three behind Can Cenclick Kale Spor who have played a match more while Besiktas (0-9) and Beylikduzu (0-9) are joint bottom of the table, still without a point.
Up next for Ilbank, Jack-Kisal, who returned to Turkey where she played previously with Galatasaray for two years last month after a two-year spell in Japan, and her club-mates will face sixth-placed Yesilyurt (5-4) on October 24.
