There was a mending of relationships on Thursday between Chairman of the Technical Committee of the T&T Football Association Keith Look Loy and National Senior Men's coach Terry Fenwick.
Both men had a cordial and productive meeting on Thursday, the complete opposite of what happened in a meeting of the technical committee and Fenwick which led to the latter storming out of the meeting in a fit of range, earlier this week.
A release distributed to the media said: "Fenwick agreed that the supervision of national teams by, and accountability of national coaches to, the Technical Committee is a necessity."
And Look Loy, on behalf of his committee, assured Fenwick of the committee’s support. The T&T Super League president later guaranteed the facilitation of the senior men’s team's plans.
The embattled football association has also sought to clear the air on the roles and responsibilities of members of the committee, saying the Technical Director pursues developmental objectives, while national coaches lead our teams into competition.
"The Technical Committee supervises both areas of work" the release stated.
Meanwhile, the football association, being led by William Wallace, has scheduled an important meeting for Monday with officials of the senior men's team and national teams director Richard Piper to define operational protocols.
