Aaron Raghoonanan will feature tonight for the Boardroom United Stars when the Billiards Sports Organisation of T&T’s National Pool League gets going tonight at venues across T&T from 8 pm.
Raghoonanan, arguably the best player in the country at the moment, will look to lead Boardroom, which is one of the favourites as it opens its campaign at home in Debe against Kenny’s Sports Bar.
The highly anticipated tournament is now up to ten teams with the addition of Forty Fivers, which will share home-venue with the Headquarters team in Penal.
In other action, Liquidators will host Jerry’s Sports Bar of Port-of-Spain at Club Liquidz in Duncan Village, San Fernando. Jerry’s, winners of the knockout tournament at the league’s launch last Wednesday, is another team to watch.
Upper Deck of St James will travel to Marabella to take on Foxy’s, Headquarters are at home to Dekko Sports Bar of Princes Town in Penal and the Forty Fivers will journey north to Curepe to do battle with Pit N Pub.
Teams will consist of six players and will contest four singles matches and one doubles match, all matches will be a race to three.
