Pooran, the tournament’s leading run scorer, clobbered 61 from 34 balls, inclusive of seven sixes and one four, as the Super Giants chased down the Titans’ 180 for six, finishing on 186 for four off 19.3 overs.

Pooran added 58 runs for the second wicket with opener Aiden Markram – who bludgeoned 58 from 31 balls to put the Super Giants on course for victory.

Earlier, Titans’ openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan both scored half centuries to give their side an excellent start.

Skipper Gill made 60 from 38 balls, while Sudharsan scored 56 from 37 balls in an opening partnership of 120 in 12 overs.

Sherfane Rutherford scored 22 off 19 balls for the Titans.
