This year’s Na­tion­al Pri­ma­ry Schools Net­ball League (NPSNL) fi­nal was card­ed for Wednesday at the Shaw Park Cul­tur­al Com­plex, Scar­bor­ough, To­ba­go with St Gabriel’s Ro­man Catholic of the Vic­to­ria Ed­u­ca­tion­al Dis­trict set to face To­ba­go’s Scar­bor­ough Methodist for the girls’ tro­phy. How­ev­er, the de­cid­ing match has been resched­uled as of­fi­cials of the NPSNL were un­able to se­cure re­turn flights from To­ba­go lat­er to­day for the play­ers and of­fi­cials from Trinidad.

Pres­i­dent of the NPSNL Nico­la Mc Nicolls told Guardian Me­dia that the League was un­able to get re­turn flights when the re­quest was made fol­low­ing the semi­fi­nal round on Wednes­day.

Mc Nicolls said the girls’ fi­nal has been ten­ta­tive­ly post­poned to June 13.

The girls’ team shoot­ing fi­nal be­tween To­ba­go’s Table­piece Gov­ern­ment and Barataria An­gli­can (St George East) has al­so been pushed back to June 13

The oth­er fi­nals all in­volv­ing schools from Trinidad (Boys, Girls and Boys In­di­vid­ual Shoot­ing, Boys Team Shoot­ing, Girls and Boys Dis­trict) have been shift­ed to the Mal­oney In­door Sports Are­na and will be con­test­ed to­day as sched­uled.

En­ter­prise Gov­ern­ment and Barataria An­gli­can will bat­tle for the boys’ ho­n­ours.

En­ter­prise will al­so be in the boys’ team shoot­ing fi­nal against San Juan Sev­enth Day Ad­ven­tist (SDA).

In the girls’ in­di­vid­ual shoot­ing fi­nale, Holeisha Joseph of New­town Girls RC will square off with Ade­sha Ma­rine of San Fer­nan­do SDA.

San Juan SDA’s Je­re­mi­ah Alexan­der will seek to get the bet­ter of Samuel Williams of Barataria An­gli­can for the boys’ in­di­vid­ual shoot­ing ho­n­ours.

St George East and Port-of-Spain (POS) will con­test the girls’ In­ter-Dis­trict de­cid­ing en­counter while the boys’ In­ter-Dis­trict fi­nal will be the win­ner of the Ca­roni and St George East bat­tle.
