Queen’s Park Cricket Club made it five wins from as many matches in the Caroni Zone Table Tennis League by sweeping past D’Abadie Youths 3-0 at the Queen’s Park Oval, Tragarete Road on Thursday night.

Limited Super Singles competition on Wednesday last, Guyana’s Shemar Britton and Brittany Joseph continued their top form by leading the Parkites to another straightforward victory.
Britton made light work of Everton Sorzano 11-3, 11-3, 11-9; three-time national champion Joseph scolded Sheron Pierre 11-5, 11-7, 12-10, and Daniel Henriques toppled Carlilse Cleveland 11-5, 11-5, 11-4.
At the Penal Sports Club, PowerGen battled past Arima Table Tennis Club, 3-2 thanks to a decisive win from Fiaz Mohammed over Emmanuel Chuniesingh 11-7, 11-8, 11-5.
Catherine Spicer was also key to PowerGen’s win with victories over Chuniesingh 11-6, 5-11, 11-9, 6-11, 11-3 and Abraham Francis 11-8, 12-10, 11-8.
Mohammed was beaten in his first match, 12-14, 17-19, 11-13, 10-12 by Francis while Rod Singh went under to Edwin Humphreys 5-11, 7-11, 11-8, 11-13 for Arima’s wins.
Warrenville United pulled off an impressive 3-0 defeat of WASA at WASA Sports Club, St Joseph.
For Warrenville, Linda Partap-Boodhan overcame Ancil Wellington 11-7, 4-11, 11-7, 11-8; Sharazz Ali held off Christoff Roberts 11-8, 11-9, 11-9 and Dave Ramoutar humbled Sheldon Graham 11-5, 11-8, 11-8.
TSTT was also in winners row, 3-0 over Warrenville Youths in a very closely fought affair.
Anil Ramlakhanbeat Kishan Ramoutar 8-11, 11-4, 11-6, 11-6; Miguel Nixon outlasted Akeem Beharry 11-3, 8-11, 10-12, 11-9, 11-9 and Irvin Sampath rallied past Kevin Ramoutar 8-11, 11-9, 11-6, 8-11, 11-5 for TSTT.
Solo Crusaders had a tough task on its hands but managed to escape with a 3-1 triumph over Warrenville B Andrew Alexander was the star of the show for Crusaders beating Donald Humphreys, 11-6, 11-3, 11-4 and Vasesh Ramphalie 11-4, 11-7, 9-11, 8-11, 11-9, the latter in the decider while N’Kosi Rose whipped Ramphalie 11-7, 11-7, 11-6.
Adesh Ramphalie had the lone win for Warrenville B, 5-11, 12-10, 11-6, 11-8 over Richard Young.
And in the other fixture o the weekend, Arima Table Tennis Club edged Couva A behind Abraham Francis’ two wins, 8-11, 11-6, 11-6, 11-3 over Satesh Jodhan and Harrinarine Moonasar, 16-14, 13-11, 11-6.
Emmanuel Chuniesingh brushed aside Moonasar 11-9, 11-9, 11-5 for Arima’s third win, while Rafael Mohammed beat Edwin Humphreys 11-4, 11-7, 12-10 and Jodhan topped Chuniesingh 6-11, 11-8, 11-7, 9-11, 11-7.
