Ter­minix La Hor­quet­ta Rangers will be ea­ger to re­bound from their 2-1 loss to AC Port-of-Spain (PoS) on Mon­day night when they play away to cel­lar-placed 1976 FC Phoenix to kick off Round Four of the T&T Pre­mier Foot­ball League Tier I Di­vi­sion at the Dwight Yorke Sta­di­um, Ba­co­let, To­ba­go from 6 pm Thurs­day.

Af­ter three rounds of match­es, the Wal­ter Nor­eiga-coached AC PoS who end­ed the in­au­gur­al sea­son of the league in the sec­ond spot af­ter a fi­nal loss to even­tu­al cham­pi­on De­fence Force leads the 11-club stand­ings with a max­i­mum of nine points, two clear of the army/coast guard com­bi­na­tion team while T&T Pris­ons Ser­vice and Rangers are next with six points each, one more than Po­lice fol­lowed by Tiger Tanks Club San­do with four, Her­itage Pe­tro­le­um Point Fortin Civic Cen­tre with three, FC Ea­gles with two, and the trio of Cale­do­nia FC, Cen­tral FC and Phoenix, all with­out a point.

Host Phoenix, who are com­pet­ing in the first sea­son af­ter cap­tur­ing the Tier II Di­vi­sion ti­tle last sea­son will be hop­ing for a bet­ter out­come in their sec­ond match at home af­ter a 4-1 loss to AC PoS in Round Two at the same venue.

The To­ba­go out­fit al­so suf­fered a 5-0 loss to De­fence Force in the open­ing round and was blanked 2-0 by Po­lice in Mon­day's first match at the Ken Cooke Ground, St James Po­lice Bar­racks on Mon­day night.

To­mor­row (Fri­day), Round Four will con­tin­ue with three match­es, in­clu­sive of a mouth-wa­ter match-up be­tween De­fence Force and Club San­do in the fea­ture match of a dou­ble-head­er at the Hase­ly Craw­ford Sta­di­um, Mu­cu­rapo, 8 pm.

Two hours ear­li­er at Mu­cu­rapo, Ea­gles face Point Fortin Civic Cen­tre while Cen­tral FC and Cale­do­nia FC clash at Phase II Recre­ation Ground, La Hor­quet­ta in a 6 pm kick-off as well.

The round will be com­plet­ed on Mon­day, De­cem­ber 17 with Po­lice host­ing Prison Ser­vice at the Ken Cooke Ground, St James Po­lice Bar­racks from 6 pm.
