Daija Reid of Zenith Athletic Club was the outstanding performer with her four gold medals at the 2025 National Gas Company (NGC)/Republic Bank Limited (RBL), National Association of Athletics Administrations of T&T (NAATT) National Junior Track and Field Championships at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo on the weekend (June 28-29).
Reid won the girls' Under-15 long jump with a best leap of 5.23 metres, 60 metres hurdles in 9.42 seconds and shot put (10.10m) on the first day and landed her fourth title yesterday when she was victorious in the high jump (1.52m).
Jafari Edwards of Rising Super Stars (RSS) Phoenix was among a trio of athletes who grabbed three titles. Edwards prevailed in the boys' U-15 high jump (1.63), long jump (5.72) and 80m hurdles (11.49).

Kerlon Henry and sister Gloria, Rynna Regis, Jeremiah Hector, Shania Baynes and Azzirion Williams are the others.
Carifta boys' U-17 octathlon winner Omari Brown (Neon Wolves) was a triple winner. Brown topped the field in the boys' U-17 long jump (6.50m), 110m hurdles (14.07) and 200m (22.01).
Fellow Carifta gold medallists Zenith's Oshea Cummings), Christopher Sammy ogPace and Performance Factory (PPF), and Brion Scott (PPF) head the list of double champions.

Scott raced to the boys' U-17 400m (48.82) and 800m (1:54.02) crowns and denied Sammy a third gold as Sammy had to settle for silver in the 800m.
Kellon Potts (Phoenix) topped the boys' U-15 discus (43.10) and javelin (45.83) and missed out on a third as the shot put event was cancelled due to the persistent rains.
World U-20 Championships representative Deshawn Cole sped to the boys' U-20 200m in a personal best (pb) time of 20.96 and 400m (46.86). Cole denied his Abilene Wildcats Giovanni Bobb-Semple a sprint double. Bobb-Semple captured the 100m title (10.54), the day before.
Another Abilene Wildcats competitor Cheyne West claimed the boys' U-20 110m and 400m hurdles. The UK-based athlete won the titles with times of 14.07 and 54.37, respectively.

Vincent won the high jump (1.60m).
Her twin brother Tyrique sailed to the boys' U-20 long jump (7.37pb) and pole vault (3.00). Tyrique captured the Carifta boys' U-20 decathlon crown.

Some 800 athletes from 57 clubs and schools participated.
Rss Phoenix also won the Juvenile title last week, also for a fourth consecutive year.
