World 400m 2022 in­door cham­pi­on Jereem ‘The Dream’ Richards will lead a four-mem­ber T&T team to the 21st World Ath­let­ics In­door Cham­pi­onships at the Ku­jawy-Po­mors­ka Are­na Torun in Torun, BiT City, Kuya­vian-Pomeran­ian, Poland, from March 20 - March 22, 2026 in Poland.

The team, which al­so in­cludes Leah Bertrand, Tyra Git­tens-Spotsville and Nathan Cum­ber­batch, was an­nounced by the Na­tion­al As­so­ci­a­tion of Ath­let­ics Ad­min­is­tra­tions of T&T on Fri­day.

The 32-year-old Richards, who was al­so part of the 4x400m re­lay team which won bronze at the World In­door Cham­pi­onship in 2012, will com­pete in the 400 me­tres.

The Point Fortin-born Richards is the cur­rent 200 m and 400 m in­door cham­pi­on.

The 23-year-old Bertrand will com­pete in the 60 me­tres, while 27-year-old Git­tens-Spotsville will com­pete in the long jump, and 21-year-old Cum­ber­batch, in the 800 me­tres.

The team will de­part T&T on Mon­day, March 16, and re­turn on Mon­day, March 23.

The oth­er mem­bers of the trav­el­ling team will in­clude team man­ag­er Je­hue Gor­don, coach Don­a­van Spotsville and Nicole Fuentes-Charles as team medic.
