SAS will be seek­ing to add the 54-60 Knock­out (KO) ti­tle to the League tro­phy when they face The Brix on the fi­nal day of the Queen's Park Crick­et Club (QPCC) 8-a-side Foot­ball tour­na­ment at the QPCC ground on Fri­day (Oc­to­ber 3).

SAS land­ed the League ho­n­ours with 12 points ahead of The Brix (15) and M2 Gear (14) and will be out to se­cure dou­ble when the two side clash on the South Field at 7pm. SAS is yet to be de­feat­ed. The Brix will re­ly on Jef­frey Dal­ton-Brown who is the top goal scor­er af­ter find­ing the net on 13 oc­ca­sions.

Harts and Domi­no's will bat­tle for the 36-45 di­vi­sion 40 min­utes lat­er. The Harts duo of Luke Bib­by and Bene­dict Barath are joint sec­ond on the goals with six and will be seek­ing to sur­pass the cur­rent leader Shane Hamel-Smith (Shep­pard Se­cu­ri­ty) on 8.

The out­com­ing of the 46-53 cat­e­go­ry may prove to be the most in­trigu­ing one of the day as three teams are in con­tention for the top spot. Earth En­er­ji (EE) and Jabb Jou­vert (JJ) square off at 6:20pm with JJ need­ing a draw to take the first prize. How­ev­er, if EE comes out ahead, Over­watch will be crowned the cham­pi­on.

The League win­ners Over 60 and 35 and Un­der di­vi­sions have al­ready been de­cid­ed due to the lim­it­ed num­ber of teams par­tic­i­pat­ing. Khan's Poul­try won the Over 60 class. The de­fend­ing cham­pi­ons are on 17 points com­ing in­to the fi­nal round of play to­day. They will face Mur­phy Clarke who will need to de­feat the win­ners to fin­ish in sec­ond. How­ev­er, should Carib, cur­rent­ly in third, get the bet­ter of Steel Drum, then Carib will take the run­ner-up spot. Both Over 60 match­es will kick off the ac­tion at 5:40pm.

Bliss re­peat­ed as the 35 and Un­der vic­tors and will play their fi­nal match against Aioli/Spir­it Mas at 8:20pm. Shane De Sil­va will be look­ing to add to his goal tal­ly of 9 and take home the top goal scor­er in the di­vi­sion.
