Stu­dio 7 Dance School, home of the Spar­tan Cheer Club, is one of eight lo­cal dance schools that will take to the stage Thurs­day (Spetem­ber 18) at the All-Dance Amer­i­ca Cham­pi­onship at Ho­tel El Pana­ma in Pana­ma City, un­til Sat­ur­day (Sep­tem­ber 20).

Led by tu­tor Car­ol Matthew-Webb, the team of 23 dancers rang­ing from ages five to 42 years from the Stu­dio & Dance School, along with their com­pa­tri­ots, will show off their best dance moves against par­tic­i­pants from Ar­genti­na, Brazil, Colom­bia, Cos­ta Ri­ca, Do­mini­can Re­pub­lic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Hon­duras, Pe­ru, Puer­to Ri­co, Uruguay and host Pana­ma.

This will mark the Stu­dio 7 Dance Group's de­but at the pres­ti­gious com­pe­ti­tion, hav­ing qual­i­fied through their par­tic­i­pa­tion in the All-Dance Trinidad com­pe­ti­tion, which was held at Queen's Hall, St Ann's Road, Port-of-Spain in April.

The Stu­dio 7 Dance Group is a vi­brant and dy­nam­ic dance school that of­fers a wide range of dance styles to suit all in­ter­ests and ages with a team of ex­pe­ri­enced in­struc­tors, the stu­dio pro­vides high-qual­i­ty train­ing in var­i­ous dance gen­res, in­clu­sive of Ball­room, Latin, African, East In­di­an, con­tem­po­rary/mod­ern/jazz, hip hop, club Latin, line dances and cheer­lead­ing.

In Pana­ma, they will com­pete in con­tem­po­rary and mod­ern dance, con­tem­po­rary bal­let, jazz lyri­cal, Hol­ly­wood, mod­ern jazz, all dance open, Latin open, cabaret sauce, ball­room, bacha­ta, all dance sal­sa, and hip hop.

Over the last 21 years, Stu­dio 7 Dance has es­tab­lished it­self as one of the lead­ing dance schools in T&T with a proven track record of suc­cess in lo­cal, re­gion­al, and in­ter­na­tion­al dance com­pe­ti­tions, with its stu­dents con­sis­tent­ly demon­strat­ing ex­cep­tion­al skill, artistry, and ded­i­ca­tion, earn­ing nu­mer­ous awards and ac­co­lades.

In ad­di­tion to danc­ing, mem­bers of Stu­dio 7 al­so en­gage in game nights, bin­go, pool par­ties, hikes and out­door ac­tiv­i­ties.
