ST JOHN’S, Antigua – T&T put one hand on the Regional Under-15 Super50 Cup when it edged Windward Islands by six runs in the fourth round of the championship on Thursday.
So in today's match, T&T will take the fight for the Cricket West Indies Regional Under-15 title to Guyana with Romario King, Kavir Boodoosingh, Justin Jaggessar and Nathan Sealy wicketkeeper Verran Batchu, and bowlers Joshua Davis, Alexander Chase and Nickyle Jalim.
T&T's victory over the Windwad Islands on Thursday was worth 6.2 points, which takes the local boys to a total of 25.1 points at the top of the six-team table. Guyana, on the other hand, gained 6.4 points from its victory against the Leeward Islands which replaced the Windwards in second place on 18.9 points. The winner of today's T&T v Guyana finale will replace Barbados as champion after they were beaten at Coolidge Cricket Ground, by Jamaica by 46 runs.
